Tonight as a devastating tornado ripped through Jonesboro and surrounding areas, there was one constant team keeping everyone informed and that was the Region 8 StormTEAM.

I don’t think that anyone dreamed we would all be watching live as a monster formed over the city of Jonesboro. As the scene unfolded, their team was calm, collected and devoted to getting the word out and keeping everyone informed. Lives were saved, and tonight we say thank you.

Despite everything we may find out as the hours carry on, one thing is certain so many lives were saved because of their constant coverage and we here at Arkansas Outdoor Country are so very thankful to have them.

Prayers for the city of Jonesboro, Brookland and all of North East Arkansas who are being affected by the storms today. Deep prayers for all of the emergency, police and firefighters out there saving lives tonight. Thank you.
