Hunters Helping Heroes is letting our heroes know their service to the United States is appreciated. The organization focuses on extending their sincere gratitude to all of our country’s heroes.Their mission is to organize outdoor excursions and recreational activities for our veterans and service members.
Organized by Ryan Miller founder of Hunters Helping Heroes and hunting guide Ethan Lee of Bruceton, Tennessee and partnering with Author Loyd-owner of Fallen Feathers Duck Club, Pocahontas, Arkansas they hosted duck hunts for six veteran hunters to duck hunt in some of Northeast Arkansas’ local hot spots.
Ricky Mallard and Paul Ivey from Tennessee, Tommy and Cole Shahan from Arkansas and Jonathan Burton and Jesse Reyes of Texas all had the time of their life and enjoyed all the beauty and comradery that is unique to duck hunting in Arkansas. The group had the privilege of hunting with popular guide Rick ‘Duckman’ Hudson, of Canoe Slough Duck Club, and owner Randy Johnston and Mike Ireland. After the hunt everyone enjoyed lunch just down the road at Cole’s local Riverside Grill located in Reyno, AR. At the end of the day the group enjoyed Ethan and Author’s grilling at the Fallen Feathers Duck Club with an array of tall stories told through the night.
